Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 11, 2026.This policy explains what Game Day School (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects when you use gameday.school, how we use it, and the choices you have. Short version: we collect as little as possible, we never sell your data, and you can leave anytime.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us. If you subscribe to our email list, we collect your email address and the page you signed up from. We do not ask for, or store, names, passwords, or payment information.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting provider records basic technical data when you visit (IP address, browser type, pages requested) in server logs for security and reliability. We use privacy-friendly, aggregate analytics to count visits and understand which pages are useful. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not build individual profiles of visitors.

2. How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

— Send you the cheat sheets, guides, and updates you signed up for;
— Operate, maintain, and improve the site;
— Understand aggregate usage (which sheets people read);
— Protect the site against abuse and ensure security.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, ever.

3. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the site, and only the minimum required: our email service provider (to store the list and send emails), our hosting provider (Vercel, which serves the site), and our analytics provider (aggregate, cookie-free statistics). Each provider processes data on our behalf under its own privacy and security commitments. We may also disclose information if required by law.

4. Cookies

We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The site may use strictly necessary, first-party storage for basic functionality (for example, remembering that you already subscribed). Because we don't use non-essential cookies, you won't see a cookie banner here.

5. Affiliate links

Some outbound links (like “where to watch” links) are affiliate links. When you click one, the destination service may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

6. Email and unsubscribing

Every email we send includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops all future emails immediately. We don't use hidden tracking beyond standard open/click metrics provided by our email service.

7. Data retention and deletion

We keep your email address for as long as you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, your address is suppressed from sending; if you want it deleted entirely from our systems, email hello@gameday.schooland we'll erase it within 30 days.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR in Europe and the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or port your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. We honor these requests for everyone, regardless of location: email hello@gameday.schooland we'll handle it. We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

9. Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us an email address, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, subscriber data lives with established providers, and access is limited to the site operator. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the attack surface small by collecting almost nothing.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date at the top of this page and, for significant changes affecting subscribers, note it in an email.
